Amiah McGinty

Amiah McGinty is a multi-hyphenated storyteller driven to create visceral and cathartic theatre that authentically represents the multi-textured lives of Black people in a way that makes us feel seen, heard, and celebrated. This mission has manifested in her work as a director, actress, poet, and arts administrator as she passionately strives to amplify Black voices and empower Black women. Amiah's devotion to the craft led her to work at institutions like Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company and the National Black Theatre. She looks forward to continuing her storytelling journey after graduating with a B.F.A in Theatre Arts from the illustrious Howard University this spring.
