Mahoro Amani
16-year-old black and queer activist

Mahoro Amani (any pronouns) is a 16-year-old black and queer activist who has spent their whole life fighting for what they believe in. Currently based in Florida, Amani has worked with NPOs such as PERIOD., S.O.U.L. Sisters, and Unity360 to spread awareness about issues such as period poverty and education disparity. She is her school's Junior Class President and hopes to bring these values to her PWI. Being an organizer is the most important part of Amani’s life and she brings that with her no matter the time, place, or limitations she is put in.
